Nonstick Cooking with Less Oil and Butter

The nonstick interiors of this Jumbo Cooker require less oil or butter while you're cooking for healthier meals that don't stick to the pan. The heavy-gauge aluminum construction delivers even heat distribution and long-lasting durability for years of cooking.

Even Heating and Enhanced Flavor

The specially designed aluminum lid has a curved shape for self-moistening circulation during cooking that protects food from drying out. The unique design gently cooks your dishes and enhances the flavors of the food during cooking.

Care & Use Instructions

Before using your pan for the first time, hand-wash with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly, then season by lightly rubbing cooking oil onto the surface and heating over medium heat for 2 - 3 minutes. When cool, hand-wash in warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly.

Do not use nonstick aerosol cooking sprays in your pan. They will leave a residue, which may be difficult to remove, and will cause foods to stick to the pan.

To preserve the look and performance of your pan, we recommend using silicone, nylon, bamboo or wood utensils when cooking. Regardless of how hard the cooking surface is, using metal utensils or sharp objects will damage the cooking surface and over time and void the warranty.

Cook using LOW to MEDIUM HEAT ONLY. Since aluminum provides excellent conductivity and delivers even heat distribution, the use of high heat is not necessary. The use of high heat can permanently discolor and damage your pan.

Your pan features a stainless steel stay-flat base designed for use with induction cooking surfaces. The diameter of the pan s induction base should be equal to or larger than the size of the induction element one is using. If the pan's induction base is much smaller than the induction heating element, the induction sensor may not recognize the pan and will not activate (heat).

Keep the pan on the burner only during the necessary time for cooking. Do not overheat (dry boil) empty cookware.

Your pans are oven-safe up to 450° F (232°C). Even though the handles are oven-safe they will get hot in the oven and on the stove top, particularly gas stoves where an open flame is use. Therefore, please use protective mitts to safely handle the pan.

NOTE: Do not use under an oven broiler unit.

Keep children away from the stove while you are cooking.

Never use your pan in the microwave.

When removing lid or cooking with lid, always position the lid so that the steam holes are directed away from you.

Always use a potholder when adjusting lid. Rising steam can cause burns.

The handles may get hot under certain conditions. Be cautious and always have potholders available for use.

To extend the life of your pans, cook only on low to medium heat; never on extremely high heat as it can ruin the nonstick interior

The PVD gold handle may discolor when it comes into contact with acidic substances, so please avoid direct contact with such materials. If the PVD handle comes into contact with acidic sauces, liquids, or food during cooking, please clean it immediately with warm soapy water to pre-vent discoloration, especially before placing it in the dishwasher.

Cleaning and Caring for Your Ceramic Nonstick Cookware

Never place a hot pan in cold or even warm water to soak or clean. Always let the pan cool down to room temperature before cleaning.

This pan is DISHWASHER SAFE. Do not use harsh detergents and we recommend Cascade Dishwasher Detergent. Slightly color change on exterior by after several dishwashing cycles is normal and will not affect the use.

Although this pan is dishwasher safe, HAND WASHING and drying is always recommended to maintain the original look and performance of the interior and exterior finishes. If hand washing, use liquid dishwashing detergent with a sponge, nylon pad or dish cloth when cleaning cookware. A non-abrasive polishing cleanser may also be used for stains. Do not use oven cleaner, harsh detergents, chlorine bleach, steel wool or other abrasive cleaning pads.

Interior Cleaning: The nonstick cooking surface on your pan ensures easy cleanup with just soap and warm water. Should burnt grease or food residue collect on the surface, it can usually be removed with warm water and a mild detergent. For extreme cases, residue can be removed with a thorough cleaning using a Soft Scrub. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or coarse scouring pads.

Cleaning and Caring for Your Aluminum Lid

The lid is made from aluminum for secure fitting and even heat distribution. Extra caution must be used when handling lid.

Grip the lid handle with your fingertips or palm down so your hand does not graze a hot lid.

When you remove your lid and pan from the oven or stove, be cautious and always have potholders available for use.

Aluminum lid with coating can be washed in the dishwasher. You can also wash lid in warm and soapy water, then dry immediately to avoid water spots.

When cleaning a lid do not use abrasive cleansers, steel wool or coarse scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface of the lid, which may cause breakage over time.

Do not place aluminum lid directly on top of or directly under heating elements.

Thermal Shock

Allow the pan to cool down to room temperature before placing in any of these colder temperature locations.

Do not place extreme temperature shock on pan, which can cause metal fatigue, warping or deformation.

Avoid sudden temperature changes such as placing a hot lid on a cold surface or immersing a hot lid in cold water. Always let the lid cool before washing, as sudden temperature changes can harm the lid.

Do not place a cold lid from the refrigerator directly in a heated oven or on a hot pan. Allow the lid to reach room temperature prior to use.

Storage Instruction

After washing, dry your pan with a soft cloth or paper towel completely prior to storage.

When not in use, please store your pan in a cool and dry place away from excessive heat or humidity.

If you're stacking cookware, always place a piece of paper towel or cookware protector between pots and pans. This prevents scratches and other damage on inside and outside coating.

Q & A

How to clean difficult stains

The food juice will be carbonized on the cooking surface at high temperatures, forming tiny black dirt marks. You can easily remove it from your ceramic cooking surface in below ways. 1. Pour vinegar onto a scrubbing pad and scrub the stain. Vinegar is effective in removing most stains. 2. Make a paste of 1 tablespoon baking soda and 2 tablespoons vinegar in a pan and fill warm water. Let the pan sit for a few hours then scrub the stains.

Is this cookware compatible with all cooktops

Yes, the Member's Mark 5.5QT Modern Ceramic Jumbo Cooker is compatible with all cooktops, including induction.

Do the handles get hot

The ergonomic dual-riveted handles made of durable cast stainless steel are specifically designed to provide a comfortable cooking experience. But metal handle will get hot in the oven or longtime cooking in extremely high heat. We recommend using potholders when removing the pans from the oven and cook in medium heat.

Tips for maintain superior nonstick performance and shining colors.

Cook using low to medium heat.

Select proper burner size so that the heat touches only the bottom of the pan and does not climb up the side walls to avoid discoloration of exterior after long time cooking.

Do not use nonstick aerosol cooking sprays in your pan. They will leave residue, which may be difficult to remove, and will cause foods to stick to the pan. A little bit of oil or butter is perfectly keeping foods smooth and avoid sticking on our pan.

Always cool the pan down to room temperature before washing. A sudden temperature change (Thermal shock) can cause metal fatigue, warping, deformation, non-stick deterioration, chipping, and discoloration.

If you have a gas stove with rough metal grates, be careful when you rotate and lean the pan. Carefully place the pan on and off any stovetops to avoid sliding across metal stovetops that may damage the bottom coating.

If the non-stick performance declines, it may be from residue built up on the surface or from residue formed from misuse. A deep cleaning of the non-stick surface can help restore performance. This may include soaking overnight in hot, soapy water and then thoroughly washing the surface the next morning.
